A well-travelled mate who tells you which hotel to book

Best Bali Hotels is a small, independent site for Australians booking a 4-star-plus hotel or resort in Bali. We write for families on school holidays, couples away for a birthday and groups of mates on a long weekend.

You've probably been to Bali before, or know someone who has, so we skip the basics. We'll tell you which area suits you, which hotel to book there and which famous one to skip.

What you'll find here

• Area guides that tell you who each part of Bali suits, and who should stay elsewhere.
• Best-of lists for families, couples, groups, value and splurges, area by area.
• Hotel reviews with what's great, what isn't, and who should book it.

What you won't find

Brochure copy. If a famous hotel is tired or overpriced, we'll say so.
